Breakfast
For the best start to your day breakfast is served in the dining room from 07:00 to 09:30.
Guests can enjoy as much or as little of our freshly prepared breakfast, made from the finest locally sourced produce and with our hot options always cooked to order.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free options are also available and with a little advance notice we will endeavour to cater for any other dietary requirements.

Afternoon Tea
Upon your arrival and daily thereafter, you can enjoy our home baked cakes and a selection of teas or coffee in the lounge to help you relax and settle in.
If you don’t wish tea or coffee, there is always the option of a drink from the bar instead.
Evening Meals
For those who would rather not go out for dinner, you can enjoy one of our platters whilst taking in the view from either the dining room or the terrace, looking out over the river and the surrounding hills of the Dee valley.
Choose from either a Ploughman’s, Seafood, Vegetarian or our personal favourite; the Game platter.
Ploughman’s platter
Filled with locally sourced ingredients; the Ploughman’s platter includes a ‘Wark Farm’ organic pork pie, ham glazed with Garry’s award winning marmalade as well as a selection of cheeses including some from the nearby Cambus O’May cheese factory.
Seafood platter
The Seafood platter has a selection of North Atlantic fair including prawns, hot cured and cold smoked salmon, peppered mackerel and pickled herring.
Vegetarian platter
Filled with locally sourced ingredients; the Vegetarian platter includes a ‘Wark Farm’ spring pea pie, roasted asparagus and sun-dried tomatoes as well as a selection of nearby Cambus O’May Cheese and Highland Fine Cheese.
Game platter
Our Game platter includes venison steak, duck breast, a ‘Wark Farm’ organic venison & juniper pie and pheasant pate.
Served with a selection of bread, oatcakes and crackers these can be enjoyed individually or shared for those looking for a lighter option.
Marmalade
Garry’s homemade jams and marmalades have become synonymous with Lys-Na-Greyne with guests often taking them home. He has won several Gold and Silver awards over the years at the World’s Original Marmalade Awards and has been awarded 2 Stars for his Raspberry Jam from the Guild of Good Foods, Great Taste Awards.
To quote their website “These quirky awards were founded in 2005 by Jane Hasell-McCosh with the initial idea of preserving, growing and widening one of the most British of customs – making marmalade. They have gone on to generate a following far beyond Jane’s wildest expectations and have humour and a life of their own, inspiring people from all over the world to get involved.”
With each entrant receiving tasting notes feedback and a rating from Bronze, Silver, Gold or Double Gold, Garry was delighted to receive a Gold award with his first entry.
